Have you stitched up a MOTC mascot yet? Want to see how other people have altered or adapted the pattern? Check out the Flickr party of mascots. There are already a few who have joined the party, and there’s room for lots more! You do have to be a Flickr member, but it’s free and awesome. Just upload photos of your mascots, and tag them MOTCmascot.

After we went to print, we learned that Patons Katrina yarn - featured in the Fingerless Gloves pattern in the book, and soon to be shown off in a free pattern on this site - was being discontinued. Gah! The yarn is super soft and has great stretch. You can substitute Cascade Fixation or another stretchy yarn for it.
For now, Elann.com has some Katrina at a huge discount. Snatch some up while you can!

LibraryThing is so awesome. I just found it via Jillian’s blog, and I’ve been tooling around adding books to my list. Such fun. Looks to be loads of knitters on there, but very few crocheters. So join the Crocheters group I started up, too. Not that I want to moderate another group, or anything. But there wasn’t one and I thought there should be. So.
